About the Farm

Background

Established in 1999, Pine Cliff Ranch is located on a historic 3,900-acre property located along the banks of Garber Creek. The ranch has been privately owned and operated since its acquisition in the late 90s. Known for its commitment to land preservation and environmental health, the ranch provides a sanctuary for abundant wildlife and livestock.

Practices

Cattle are raised on a diet of grass and their mother’s milk, ensuring no trace of growth hormones or antibiotics in the beef. The ranch emphasizes low-stress animal handling and finishes its beef on grass, resulting in higher levels of conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), Omega 3 fatty acids, and Vitamin E, while being lower in saturated fats and cholesterol. The beef is processed locally in a USDA-inspected plant less than 15 miles from the ranch.

The Rest

Pine Cliff Ranch also offers horse boarding and training services. The ranch is situated over 3,500 acres of preserved open space and natural trails, providing an idyllic escape in the countryside of Sedalia. The ranch operates year-round and welcomes visitors to experience its serene environment.
