About the Farm
Background
Located in the Spring Creek community of Madison County in Western North Carolina, the farm has been in production for over 150 years. Located in a valley shadowed by Bluff Mountain, it has a long-standing presence in the area.
Practices
With 5 acres under cultivation, the farm focuses on producing a variety of in-season produce. Additionally, they harvest trees from their forest for timber.
The Rest
The farm offers 3 internships or apprenticeships each season and is building a timber frame cabin to provide farm vacations.
