Madrone Coast Farm

Located 900 feet above the city of Santa Cruz in the Santa Cruz Mountains, this small family farm has become known for its dedication to providing the community with high-quality produce year-round. The farm's commitment to preserving traditional livestock breeds has also made it a notable member of The Livestock Conservancy.

The farm grows its produce without the use of pesticides or herbicides, focusing on maintaining healthy soil and producing highly nutritious food. They carefully select produce varieties for their taste and quality. The farm also raises heritage breed livestock, including Oberhasli dairy goats, Large Black Hogs, Welsh Harlequin Ducks, and Olde English Babydoll sheep, contributing to the conservation of endangered livestock breeds.

Farm visits are available by advance arrangement. The farm sells registered breeding stock from its heritage breeds, emphasizing the importance of traditional livestock as part of America's agricultural heritage.
