About the Farm
Background
The farm has carved a niche for itself by growing a unique and unusual variety of salad vegetables, with lettuce being the main crop cultivated year-round in raised beds. Over time, the farm has expanded its offerings to include a wide array of heirloom vegetables and fruits, as well as herbs.
Practices
Using compost, rock powders, kelp, and other all-natural methods, the farm emphasizes a holistic approach to growing and pest control. The focus on heirloom varieties and crops from Asia and Europe highlights a commitment to biodiversity and soil health.
The Rest
The farm has recently opened its own market, operating Monday through Saturday from 9am to 8pm, where visitors can purchase more than 30 different types of vegetables grown throughout the year, along with blackberries, blueberries, figs, pears, heirloom apples, and heirloom strawberries.
