About the Farm
Background
Flying Carrot Farm is located in the foothills of the coast range in Noti, OR, and has established itself as a small, family-operated farm dedicated to producing high-quality, pasture-raised meats and vegetables.
Practices
Employing beyond organic methods, the farm emphasizes regenerative pasture-based agriculture. Animals are treated with the utmost care and respect, receiving certified organic, non-GMO verified, raw, soy-free feed tailored to their species' needs. No antibiotics or hormones are used. Heritage breed Galloway cows are grass-fed and grass-finished, moved daily through pastures. Pigs are rotated through pastures and receive supplemental feed. Chickens, turkeys, and layers live on pasture with additional feed. Lambs are grass-fed and weaned naturally without grain, antibiotics, or hormones. Vegetables and flowers are grown using beyond organic methods.
