About the Farm

Background

Located between Winder and Statham, the farm began its journey in March 2011. Over the years, it has become known for its CSA program and presence in local farmers' markets, online markets, local restaurants, and Whole Foods Markets. The farm transitioned to year-round production when Farmer Cass dedicated himself full-time to farming in June.

Practices

The farm adheres to Certified Naturally Grown standards, ensuring all produce is GMO-free. They focus on water and soil conservation, respect bird and wildlife habitats, and are in the process of pursuing USDA Organic Certification. Heirloom varieties are a primary focus, with customer input guiding the selection of vegetables grown each season.

Farmer Cass has a particular passion for growing sweet potatoes and watermelon. The farm values the relationships built with their community, characterized by hard work and heartfelt connections.
