About the Farm
Background
With over 100 years of farming experience in the Hood River Valley, Draper Girls Country Farm is a family-owned business run by Theresa Draper and her family. Known for its fresh cherries, strawberries, apricots, and more, the farm has become a staple in the famous Hood River Fruit Loop, providing a unique experience for visitors.
Practices
The farm features the Hood River Valley's only 100% pure, non-pasteurized, licensed apple cider mill. Their farm-grown apples are used to make award-winning cider, handcrafted on-site. The farm also offers a variety of u-pick fruits, including cherries, apples, pears, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, prunes, peaches, and nectarines, as well as farm-raised lamb, pork, and beef.
The Rest
Visitors can enjoy picking their own fruit and flowers, meeting friendly goats, and taking in the picturesque scenery. The farm also offers many locally made goods for sale and is open daily from 10:00am to 5:00pm.
