Cougar Meadows Farm

Josh and Kayko Montgomery's dream came true when they got married and bought a farmhouse with land in the horse country above Cougar Bay. Their first addition to the homestead was a few Nigerian Dwarf goats, and they immediately fell in love with this spunky and personable breed. Ever since then, they have been dedicated to the improvement of this incredible goat through selective breeding, research, dedication, and patience. The farm is now home to their two young children as well.

The farm raises happy and healthy heritage livestock that feed on meadows and are supplemented with only organic non-GMO grain and minerals. They specialize in Nigerian Dwarf Goats, registered with both the American Dairy Goat Association (ADGA) and the American Goat Society (AGS). The goats are fed the best alfalfa and non-GMO fresh milled corn-free grain, and are up to date on vaccines and tested for CAE, CL, and Johns. The goats are also socialized and bottle-fed to ensure sweet temperaments.

The farm offers a CSA for goat's milk, pastured poultry, and pastured eggs. They also provide a health guarantee for their livestock and selectively breed for the best conformation and quality, with goats going through linear appraisal evaluations each year. The farm is active on social media, providing updates and staying in touch with their community.
