About the Farm

Background

Cobalt Farm was started in 2015 in Rochester, NH by Kim and Chris Garcia, operating on Meader's Heritage Farm. Known for their diverse range of livestock and produce, they aim to make quality local food accessible to all consumers.

Practices

Turkeys are raised 100% on pasture and supplemented with grain to ensure balanced nutrition. The farm raises both beef and dairy cows, including registered Belted Galloways known for their excellent pasture conversion and lean beef. Pigs are registered Durocs, a breed celebrated for its balanced and flavorful pork. All animals are raised with a focus on allowing them to live as nature intended, combining new ideas with old traditions.

The Rest

The farm offers seasonal sales of turkeys for Thanksgiving, with pre-orders recommended due to limited availability. They also sell cattle and pigs for customers to raise themselves and will soon offer dairy-based products. A wide variety of produce is available, with updated prices and availability provided upon request.
