About the Farm
Background
Beaver Vale Farms has been a family operation since 1849, dedicated to providing naturally raised products for health-conscious consumers. Known for their commitment to quality, the farm has maintained its traditions for over a century.
Practices
The cattle are exclusively pasture-fed, with hay and haylage provided during winter months. The animals receive no antibiotics, growth hormones, or GMOs. The pastures are free from pesticides and chemical fertilizers, and are certified organic. The animals are processed locally at a provincially inspected abattoir and are dry aged for 21 days to enhance flavor and tenderness.
The Rest
Located 30 minutes north of Toronto, Beaver Vale Farms sells meat in various quantities including quarters, halves, whole, and smaller family packs. Visitors are welcome by appointment.
