Background

Established in 2008, A Bar N Ranch has been dedicated to raising superior full-blood Japanese genetics crossed with top Angus cows. Located on 5,000 acres in Sherman and Celina, Texas, the ranch is known for its commitment to producing high-quality beef.

Practices

The ranch employs meticulous genetic tracking to ensure consistency in their cattle. Their cows are fed a specially formulated, all-natural diet developed by an in-house Nutritionist who has studied Japanese feeding practices since 1994. The ranch strictly avoids the use of antibiotics and hormones, and all cattle are born, grown, and fed within the state of Texas.

The Rest

Wagyu beef from the ranch is healthier than other types of beef due to its intense marbling with softer fat, higher percentages of monounsaturated fats, omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, and lower cholesterol and saturated fat content.
